All About Byron Greenberg

Dr. Greenberg is a licensed clinical psychologist with a specialty in police and emergency services psychology. He began working primarily with law enforcement in late 1994. And worked with over 100 agencies in California, including the FBI, United States Marshall’s, California Highway patrol. During his 5 years in California, He carried San Bernadino County Star and trained at 4 major Academies. Now he works with over 65 agencies in central Virginia providing training, critical incident stress management, counseling and pre hire psychological evaluations through Greenberg & Associates. Holding graduate degrees from Johns Hopkins and Loma Linda University, Dr. Greenberg also has an active research program looking at stress, health and performance in law enforcement and emergency services. Dr. Greenberg has provided critical incident debriefings to over 4500 first responders during his tenure. He is the president of the Virginia Peer Support Association, a board member of the Society for Police and Criminal Psychology where he holds the status of Diplomate, he is a Board of Directors member of the Officer Down Board. His professional reach includes the City of Fairfax down to Emporia and out to the rolling hills of Albemarle.
